How to Host a CallWe need a volunteer each week to host our HR calls. These team calls are important because it's where we get the opportunity to engage with potential candidates that can help us grow.
Your role as a host is also important because it helps setup the call for the speaker. Having a host also helps deter candidates from thinking that we're a small company where the speaker is hosting his/her own calls. We project a much stronger presence when we have a host greeting and setting up the callers. The speaker will be preparing and organizing his/her thoughts in that 10 to 15 minute window where the host is greeting. It's much better to separate the two roles and let the speaker focus on what he/she needs to prepare for while the host is doing their job. [1] The Greeting
