When you compose an email your default email address should be displayed next to the "from" label. The default email address should be your wehelpfoundation.com email address NOT your wehelp247.com. Take care to make sure that you are sending and receiving emails through the correct email address.
Canned Responses & Signature
Click compose to initiate an email message. A new message box will appear from which you can type your message. You will need to locate your canned responses at the bottom of this box to the far right.
This is where you (1) insert, (2) save or (3) delete a canned response.
If your signature is not already set, get with management for assistance in setting this up as a canned response.
click here for the Entire Menu
OR enter the topic in the search box.
You should practice writing email messages and inserting your signature.
You should also take some time to articulate and save to canned responses the following basic messages.
Once you've articulated your canned responses, you will need to get with management for approval. This is where we like to see the team come together offline and brainstorm these email messages and help each other in the development or articulation of the message. These are just the suggested messages and topics. You may need additional email messages with content on a regular basis which should be saved as a canned response.
Labels are like folders for groups or categories from which you can assign email messages to from senders that will email you often.
You need to remove any unnecessary labels from the menu. You should have your inbox at the top, your sent mail under inbox and drafts under sent mail. Scroll down and find the link that reads "Manage Labels". This link will open up your label manager. Here you can remove the Starred label by selecting "hide".
Then you need to create two categories of labels with the following sub-labels.
Once you have created your two main categories (1) primary and (2) secondary, then you can add sublabels directly from the label itself by clicking on the upside down arrow next to the name. This will display a dropdown box. In this dropdown you will see at the bottom "add sublabel". Click this to add a sublabel.
You can create sublabels under sublabels and color them to distinguish them from each other.
Creating a New Label
Locate the "create new label" button at the bottom of the Label Management page. A box will appear asking you to enter a new label name. It will also give you the option to "nest" label under another label. Nesting allows you to create sub-labels.
Suggested Labels & SubLabels
Now that you've got your email categories setup, you can filter email messages into these labels. When you receive an email, click on that email and more options will appear above that email message. Click on the "more" button and at the bottom of that dropdown box you will see "filter messages like these". Click on this to tell google to auto place email messages from this sender into the label you want to place them in.
